How can you help your toddler learn to read and write fast, i would like to share this information with you because it really works for me. So my toddler happens to be a smart but troublesome lil dude😀,he loves to have fun always and not interested in learning, especially the writing aspect. When I noticed this about him, as a teacher,I developed some strategies.
The strategies are what we are going to look into right now
1. Pretend to play along with a playful toddler- even while teaching a playful kid,he still wants to play around, what you need to do is just free him and let him play or you can even join him if you feel like. I also realised that kids hate it when you force them to do things,so i leave him to play and during the time he is playing i would stylishly give him his pen and book, you can start singing a poem as if you are still playing with him,then introduce whatever you want him to write to him and you will see the magic, he will respond easily because he will think it is part of the play, follow this strategy and see the magic in few days, try this and thank me later 😉
2.Dont rush him or her
Do not rush your toddler into learn,it takes time especially when they are not yet three, it is a gradual process,the only thing they are interested in right now is oral learning not writing, so if you want your kid to start writing before three, you need to excercise patience with him.
3. Get enough reading and writing toys and materials for them to explore and learn,kids learn faster with toys.
4. Allow them to play with other kids especially their age mate or older kids,by doing this they learn new things from other kids,but make sure the kids they play with are good ones
5. Download alot of kiddies songs and poems for him or her,it Helps a lot
